Musical Theatre and Acting Summer School

The Summer Schools daily workshops explore the fundamental skills which can help them develop as performers. Whether they are hoping to pursue a career in the arts or whether they simply enjoy performing as a hobby, these workshops are suitable for all.

Come along as we put on a full scale show in just one week! We have 25 places available on ech of the schools along with 5 places for stduents wishing to learn technical aspects of theatre including stage management, lighting and sound.

During the week students will explore:

* Acting in performance and acting for screen
* Dance
* Singing
* Musical Theatre
* Stage Combat
* Special effects make-up for stage and screen
* Improvisation and devising
* Backstage tour
* Master class given by a West End performer/director

The summer school runs from Monday to Saturday. The Junior school from 9.30 – 4.00 and the Senior school finish at 5.00pm. Monday to Friday are comprised of workshops and rehearsals and Saturday is dedicated to the technical and dress rehearsal for the show on the Saturday afternoon.

The week-long Summer School is aimed at developing three main areas:

* Developing a strong grounding and understanding of the performing arts
* Experience of professional-level performance
* Enhance communication skills, creativity and confidence in a supportive environment

The Junior school costs £165.00 and the Senior School £175.00 and payment can be made in two installments.
