Summer Boarding Courses is a British Council accredited provider of International Summer Schools. The central ethos behind Summer Boarding Courses is quality, and this extends throughout everything from English lessons to the supervision of students. Pupils enjoy an exciting mixture of 15 hours of English tuition per week, and a fantastic programme of activities and day trips.

We operate four Summer Schools:

Dean Close International Summer School - for students aged 12 to 16 years old - is located in Cheltenham, which is about 50 minutes from Oxford. The school is a 20 minute walk from beautiful Cheltenham town centre. The facilities at the school are first class and include a state-of the–art sports centre, a 500 seat professional theatre and modern classrooms, dinning room and boarding houses. There is also an indoor swimming pool and over 15 tennis courts. The school is a 20 minute walk from the town centre. The course price includes a London stay at the end of the course. The school will run from the 12th July to the 17th August 2012, and capacity is 210 students per week.

Headington Oxford Summer School - for students aged 12 to 16 years old- is located in the leafy suburb of Headington in Oxford, yet only a mile from the very centre of the historic town. The facilities are excellent, with brand new sporting facilities and newly decorated bright single rooms for staff and dormitory boarding accommodation for students. The school will run from the 13th July to the 17th August 2012, and the capacity is approximately 180 students a week.

SBC Oxford International Summer School - for students aged 10 to 14 years old - is located at the world renowned Dragon School. The Dragon School is arguably the top Prep School in the UK and is located in one of Europe’s finest cities. The position of the school is as good as it gets, being a 15 minute walk from the centre of Oxford, yet located in an exclusive leafy North Oxford residential district. The campus is not only beautiful, but provides a great mix of historical buildings, modern facilities and spacious playing fields. The school will run from the 13th July to the 17th August 2012, and the capacity will be 150 students per week.

Norman Court International Summer School - for students aged 8 to 12 years old - is located near Stonehenge and the historic cities of Salisbury and Winchester. The school is set in a rural location with the most beautiful grounds, providing the perfect setting for students The school is made up of a beautiful manor house, which houses the girls’ and the boys’ dormitories as well as the dining room, dance studio and games rooms. The school has modern classrooms, a sports hall and an idyllic outdoor swimming pool. There is also a large area of woodland that is used for games & campfires. The school will run from the 12th July to the 9th August 2012, and the capacity will be 80 students per week.
