New York is America’s largest city, and is widely considered the cultural capital of the world. It offers SummerESL.com students one of the most memorable summer school experiences imaginable.

St John’s University is the location of our NYC campus. St John’s is situated in at TriBeCa, which is next to the Financial District of Wall Street and the new World Trade Center. The campus offers superb academic facilities and plenty of green space.

The university is only 30 minutes from JFK and La Guardia airports, so it is easily accessible from any country in the world.

This is a popular international summer school, with students from 28 different countries attending the school in 2011. As such, it’s important to book your group early!





WHAT ABOUT INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS?!

We do accept individual students. However, there are additional charges:

Airport transfer (not included) = $260
Unaccompanied minor assistance = $400
If individuals come with a friend/relative, then these fees can be shared.

ENGLISH CLASSES

+ Classes have a maximum of 16 students.
+ All ESL teachers have university degrees and CELTA qualifications.
+ Our New York summer school has a Director of Studies (DoS) who manages the teachers and guarantees that the syllabus is maintained.
+ All DoS’s are English language professionals, recruited for their higher qualifications, extensive experience and suitability to managing large vacation programmes
+ Our New York campus has a syllabus and materials that ensure that students learn about topics that are interesting for them and relevant to their lives.

At all of our centres, there is a comprehensive activity program. Evening activities include:
