Bucksmore Education have run residential summer schools for junior students from all over the world since 1979. For our older students (aged 14+) we offer unique and prestigious programmes in 5 Oxford and Cambridge University Colleges: Corpus Christi, Clare, Magdalene and Fitzwilliam in Cambridge and St Hilda's in Oxford.
Our programmes include:
Young Leaders, Corpus Christi (14-17) - An advanced leadership course for ambitious students. Students develop key leadership, teamwork, negotiating, public speaking and communication skills.
Bucksmore Choice, Fitzwilliam (14-17) - English plus Visual and Performing Arts Electives. Students choose one Elective per week from art, dance, drama, photography and film production. These Electives are studied with English speaking teenagers from Cambridge.
Bucksmore Cambridge, Clare & Corpus Christi (14-17) - Our intensive general English course in the centre of Cambridge. One week includes 22.5 hours of English, 2 full-day excursions, 2 half-day excursions and a a full activity programme. Students enjoy the freedom of the city-centre location.
Bucksmore Oxford, St Hilda's (14-17) - The sister course to Bucksmore Cambridge, but in a beautiful riverside Oxford college.
World University Preparation, Corpus Christi (16-18) - Intensive 2 week course designed to give international students the best possible chance of successfully applying to a top UK university. Students learn about the UCAS system, personal statements and general tips about life as a student in the UK.
Cambridge Advanced Studies Program, Magdalene (16-19) - An academic summer course for high-level and native English speakers from the USA and all over the world. Students choose 2 subjects to study in depth in small-group tutorial sessions and also enjoy a full social programme in Cambridge.
