Action in English Residential Summer Camps
Description:
Action in English is a Summer School based in the idyllic setting of Pocklington School, 15km from the historic Roman City of York in the North of England. We offer 1-3 week all inclusive residential summer camps for young people aged 8-16 and can cater for all diets at no extra cost.
Pocklington School is a traditional English private school set within its own 65 acres of grounds on the edge of the town.
Accommodation: Students are accommodated onsite in single or shared rooms. Boys and girls are in separate buildings. There is a shared kitchen, common-room with a flat-screen TV and comfortable seating. All bedrooms are fitted with a study desk and personal storage space. Cleaning and change of linen is carried out once a week.
Facilities: All classrooms are fully-modern having interactive whiteboards and computers. This allows the use of a number of interactive media when teaching. Students have access to a swimming pool (under the supervision of a life-guard), tennis courts, a gym, basketball courts, cricket nets, football pitches, golfing facilities, a fully equipped theatre, table tennis, pool/snooker, table football and internet facilities.
