Bury St Edmunds Summer School runs from 25th to 29th July 2011 - £115 per person (£85 for siblings)

Colchester Summer School runs from 1st to 5th August 2011 - £130 per person (£95 for siblings)

Since 1992, Theatretrain has been offering young people, aged 6 to 18, training in the performing arts. With over 90 centres across the country, it promises three hours of fun every Saturday during term time for those who love to dance, act and sing.
Our staff are very passionate about Theatretrain and the opportunities it offers to young people. All our students perform regularly both locally and in London's West End, treading the boards of amazing venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, the London Palladium and the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. The shows we perform are specially created by Theatretrain Director Kevin Dowsett and Musical Director Robert Hyman. Performing in the West End gives our students the chance of a lifetime and is a fantastic experience. Theatretrain is also very lucky to be supported by patrons Catherine Tate, Kate Williams, Frances de la Tour, Alfred Molina and Sir Derek Jacobi.
As well as being really good fun, Theatretrain is a fantastic way of building confidence. “It is always so rewarding to see children develop and grow as they become more confident and outgoing. All abilities are welcome and there is no audition to join, offering all children the same experiences whether they have performed before or not."
Students receive three classes in drama, dance and singing, each lasting an hour, with enthusiastic teachers and the centres run classes in three different age groups; 6/9s, 10/12s and 13/18s. As well as working in their separate classes, the students often enjoy working together as a centre, which creates a family atmosphere and a great sense of team spirit; an environment that Theatretrain promotes.
