International Summer School is accredited with British Council and has 3 summer school centres for students aged from 8-21 years in the south east of England by the sea. Our Centres are chosen for their excellent locations, accommodation and facilities. It is usual for us to have students from 25-30 different countries with us during the summer.

We offer General English courses as well as an IELTS preparation course with the chance to take the exam at the end.

BETHANY SCHOOL - for students aged 11-17 years - is in a beautiful location, set in 60 acres of parkland. Students can choose to have a single en-suite bedroom or share a room with 2-3 others. Bethany has first-class sports facilities including a heated outdoor swimming pool, 3 football pitches, cricket pitch, tennis courts, basketball court, table tennis centre, athletics track, squash courts, art studio, drama studio, assembly hall,computer room (WIFI throughout the school). The fees are all-inclusive and students do not need to pay for anything else.

MOIRA HOUSE SCHOOL- for 8-16 year olds - is in a safe, residential area of Eastbourne and only a short walk to the town centre and seafront. This is a popular course with boys and girls of this age group. Mainly twin or 3-5 bedded rooms. The school has a lovely indoor heated swimming pool, indoor sports hall, drama studio,assembly hall, drama studio, art room, cookery room, computer suite and sports fields. This is an all-inclusive course and everything is included in the course fee.

EASTBOURNE (CONFERENCE AND LEARNING) CENTRE is in a superb location overlooking the sea and only two minutes walk to the main town centre. The Centre is a sophisticated setting for mature and independent students who are looking for a challenging English course with first-class accommodation and facilities. All bedrooms are ensuite and many have private balconies with views over the sea. Teaching takes place at the Centre in small groups in the comfortable and airy seminar rooms. Teachers are native English speakers and have degrees and qualifications to teach English to non-native speakers. They are experienced with the age range. Weekly fees are all-inclusive and students do not need to pay for anything else

All Centres offer a high quality activity programme and students can choose to do a wide variety of sports and other activities. Football, swimming,water polo, tennis, trampolining, badminton, volleyball, basketball, cricket, hockey, rounders, table tennis, jewellery making, pilates, aerobics, yoga, painting and drawing, art and craft, magazine writing, chess, board games, pier walks, nature trails are some of the options available. NB Students who want specialist sports coaching in Horse Riding, Skiing, Golf, Windsurfing, Sailing, Canoeing, Mountain Biking, Tennis - can pay extra for professional tuition.

During the evenings there is a whole-school entertainment programme, e.g ten pin bowling, cinema, Brighton nightclub visit, quiz, karaoke, drama night, talent shows, theme nights and many more.

Excursions are exciting and varied. Full day trips to top tourist attractions in London and places nearer to school are included. For example, the London Eye, Madame Tussauds, Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Greenwich, Planetarium, Hampton Court, Windsor Castle, London Theatre, Covent Garden, Oxford Street, British Museum, Tate Modern, Boat trip along the Thames, Brighton, Portsmouth, Canterbury, Tunbridge Wells, Thorpe Park etc.
