Summer Shoots: Movie Making Camps for Kids
Summer Shoots are action-packed summer camps for children and teenagers.

There are courses for ages 5 to 18, divided into peer age groupings.

Each week is a unique, creative experience full of fun and imagination. Young movie makers develop their talents and skills, from both behind and in front of the camera.

During the weeklong summer camp, they produce and star in their own movie masterpiece.

“Finally, a summer camp that she actually wants to come to!
I’m thrilled and she’s loving it.”
Alexandra Veest, parent

During the week, the young filmmakers learn all about making a movie from our specialist workshop leaders.

The crews express their ideas and devise their own stories and scripts. They direct, shoot and crew each of their scenes, where they work together as a team. Throughout the week, they take away lots of new experiences, as well as developing their skills.

The young filmmakers enjoy taking responsibility as they work just like a professional film crew. They love to take ownership over their production and shape it into something special and unique.

At the end of the summer camp, the filmmakers proudly share their work with family in a special screening presentation.

Later on in the summer, we also celebrate with a fun red carpet screening event for family and friends.
