The Big String
Description:
Our annual two-day project for string musicians will run over the spring half term break on 16th & 17th February 2026. Designed for string musicians aged 5 to 18, at all levels from pre-Grade 1 to post-Grade 8.
The first day will be held at Dean Close Senior School in Cheltenham, then this year we will move to Tewkesbury Abbey for the second day, for rehearsals and an afternoon performance.
The project is directed by GAM Principal Glyn Oxley and supported by tutors from Gloucestershire Academy of Music and Make Music Gloucestershire.
