Description:
Taunton School International provides a range of Summer School courses aimed at providing a thorough introduction to life at a traditional British Boarding School:

Senior Summer School (13 - 17 yrs)

- An intensive course of academic English tuition leading to a City & Guilds Examination accompanied by introductory lessons in a range of academic subjects.

Junior Summer School (7 - 12 yrs)

- An excellent first introduction and preparation for living and learning in a British Boarding School

Introduction to British Boarding Schools (9 - 16 yrs)

- A three week term time course allowing students opportunities to experience lessons within the boarding school at the appropriate level alongside British students as well as undertake specialist academic subject classes and a course of Academic English.


Students on our Summer School courses enjoy a wide range of sports, evening activities and excursions, and there is always something happening to keep the students busy and happy. We use all the excellent facilities at Taunton School including two swimming pools, tennis courts, fitness suite, modern theatre, science laboratories, art studios, classrooms with interactive boards and IT suites.
The Summer School courses are small and friendly. Our own term-time teachers and pastoral staff work on these courses providing 24 hour care appropriate to the students’ ages and needs. We are always there to help students when they require support and to provide a secure and safe environment.
