Achieving Academic Excellence
Concord College Summer School is an exciting place to spend a summer. Set in the heart of the English countryside, Concord Summer School has been welcoming international students for over 40 years.

At Concord students will build foundations for academic success and create a lifetime of memories. It’s excellent academic and recreational facilities provide students a fantastic British summer school experience. Our Summer School aims to improve academic skills and knowledge, increase individuals’ confidence, experience the British way of life, and make lasting friendships from around the world.

Concord Summer School offers a range of practical academic courses in the Arts, Humanities and STEM subjects that provide an enriching learning experience.

The Discovery Workshops for students aged 11-12 years are an immersive and interactive way for students to enhance their knowledge in their chosen course or to explore and learn a new subject. In an enjoyable and supportive environment students will build their confidence and improve their English and interpersonal skills.

The Academic Projects for students ages 13-16 years are centred on developing students’ skills and knowledge in their chosen subject. The courses enable students to explore or learn more about potential future study and career paths whilst building their confidence.

All courses offer an in-built educational trip to accompany the students learning.

In addition, students will complement their learning with courses in General English or Science. Our English courses aim to improve English skills and cover general English, speaking, reading, writing, listening. The General Science courses cover Biology, Chemistry & Physics and are very practical based putting classroom theory to the test.
All summer school students will also have the exciting opportunity to join planned Enrichment Activities alongside an extensive and fun Social Programme packed with campus events and exciting trips and excursions.

Students benefit from on campus accommodation in boarding residences. We have our own medical centre which is managed by a team of dedicated nurses and students are supported and cared for by a Safeguarding and Pastoral team.
