Young Athlete Summer Running Camp
Young Athlete Camp, 25th - 29th July, 2022
We have been running our young athlete camps for over 10 successful years. This year our camp will take place at Harrow School with its excellent facilities and superb private accommodation. The camps are designed for 12-17 year olds of all abilities to improve their knowledge and performance whilst enjoying a fun packed camp agenda. It's the perfect opportunity to meet and make new friends too.
We have a team of expert coaches and a dedicated pastoral care team. The residential 5-day camp includes accommodation in private boarding houses with full board catering.
The agenda includes
o Speed and hill sessions
o Team relay race and team games
o Drills for skills, agility and technique
o Strength & conditioning
o Video analysis of running style
o Mental preparations for training and racing
o Getting your nutrition and hydration right
o Planning your training
o Injury prevention, stretching and mobilisation exercises
o Team and individual awards throughout

I would just like to say a massive thank you to all the coaching team and yourself for how amazing the camp was. I have learnt so much from it and made so many good friends. All the seminars about various different topics like nutrition and biomechanics has really broadened my horizons around running. It has certainly been a life-changing experience.

I just wanted to thank all the coaches at Full Potential for the young athlete camp last week. I had such a great time, learnt so much about training which has helped me this week with my running and I made many great friends! I really enjoyed the seminars especially Katie and Julia’s on Red-s and the mental strength talk.

I just wanted to send a quick email to say a big thank you for putting on the Young athletes Camp in Wellington College last week. My daughter Maddie really enjoyed her week and after nearly eight weeks of not running due to her asthma, it has kick started her back into running again. He's come home enthused about running generally, and has some great ideas to add to his training regime. I know he's attended for the last 3 years, and enjoyed every year, but for some reason, this year, more so in particular.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to you, Ben and all the team for the amazing week on the Young Athlete Training Camp. My son Ben Willison came home so positive and enthusiastic, he hasn’t stopped talking about it.
He has been showing us all the exercises in the strength and conditioning and mobility. We have also found that he’s eating a lot better. He found the nutrition talk really interesting and is now lecturing us on all the right proteins to eat etc.
Thank you once again to the whole team. Ben is looking forward to next year already.

Many thanks for last week, Emily enjoyed it immensely. She is still buzzing and wants to return next year! She made quite a few friends whilst there and based on their feedback, it would appear that all of the other participants enjoyed the camp also.
